 As of 12/28/23 Lily was still alive and well, bouncing for her morning breakfast! She is in all of our current breeding lines. It is her impeccable temperament which comes down through the generations.

 

Health Clearances:  OFA - hips good, elbows normal, EIC (exercise induced collapse) clear, CERF (Canine Eye Research Foundation) normal, PRA (progressive retinal atrophy) clear as tested by Optigen, OFA Cardiac clear   

Lily has taken Reserve winners b*tch several times, 1st in her puppy classes  at several AKC shows.  She took Best Puppy at the Hoosier LRC Specialty.  She took 2nd at HRLRC Specialty in 12-15 months sweeps.  She remained in competition after the cut at the HRLRC Specialty in the 15-18 month class.  Lily earned her Obedience Rally Novice (RN) title at the Apple Blossom Cluster in Kalamazoo, MI in May, 2012.  She has a Canine Good Citizen (CGC) certificate and a Therapy Dog International (TDI) certification.  Lily took Reserve Winners Bitch at the Oakland County Kennel Club from the American bred class on 1/21/12,  she also took RWB 1/27/2012 at Chain O'Lakes Kennel Club, and RWB 1/21/2012 Oakland County Kennel Club     September, 2013, HRLRC Labrador Specialty Am Bred, 4th place.

 

Lily has never met a stranger.  The vets we see love to joke about her 'terrible temperament' as she rolls for belly rubs :) Her solid temperament is evident in her kids, grand kids, and great grand kids, some who are service or therapy dogs.
